Kool Herc in hospital
According to DJ Premier, hip hop legend Kool Herc is in hospital with an unknown condition which is worsening. Sadly, he doesn’t have medical insurance, which makes paying his bills a gigantic task. This isn’t the place to get political but to see such a figure as Kool Herc without health cover is something of an indictment of the American system.
